Common Symptoms of an Anxiety Disorder

  • Agitation: This is a common symptom experienced by a lot of my clients before they come to see me. Agitation can be difficult to put your finger on but essentially you feel a little tense, irritable and on edge.
  • Worrying: Anxiety is almost always accompanied by excessive feelings of worry. Sometimes these can be completely irrational, and yet still cause stress and worry.
  • Tiredness: Agitation, worrying and ongoing anxiety can take up a lot of time and energy. After a while this can affect sleep and lead to a vicious cycle.
